As we continue to expand, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Group Sales Director to drive our sales strategy across all seven countries.
Position Overview:
As the Group Sales Director, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of the sales function for Duroc Machine Tool across Norway, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia. You will be part of the Group Management Team, contributing to the overall business strategy while leading and managing the sales teams across the organization to ensure that sales targets are consistently achieved. You will also be responsible for implementing a new CRM system to enhance sales operations and customer relationships. This role requires 50-75 travel days per year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with Duroc Machine Tool's customer-focused culture and business goals.
- Manage, lead, and motivate the sales teams across all seven countries, ensuring they meet or exceed the company’s sales targets and foster long-term customer loyalty.
- Implement and manage a state-of-the-art CRM system to improve sales operations, customer tracking, and performance reporting.
- Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes to identify growth opportunities and refine sales approaches across multiple regions.
- Collaborate closely with other departments, including marketing, operations, and finance, to ensure alignment and support of the sales strategy.
- Monitor and report on sales performance across all seven countries, providing regular updates to the Group Management Team.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders in each country.
- Travel 50-75 days per year to support sales efforts across different countries onsite.
Key Qualifications / Education:
Qualifications:
- 5-10 years of experience in B2B sales, with a proven track record of success.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in a leadership role, with strong people management and team development skills.
- Experience in managing sales teams across multiple countries and achieving company sales targets.
- Experience in implementing CRM systems and optimizing sales processes.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and team-building abilities.
- Ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable plans.
- Strong understanding of market dynamics, customer behavior, and competitive positioning.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field. Master’s degree in international marketing, Management, or Sales and Business Development. An MBA with a focus on Leadership and Strategy is also advantageous.
